Story time! ( about small victories!) I actually got into wedding photography completely by accident.
A year ago A&B asked me to shoot their wedding. My immediate reaction? Pure panic. 😱
I’d never shot one before! I was totally honest and told them, “I’m so flattered, but I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing!”
But they trusted me. They loved my style and were happy to take a chance. So, with my heart hammering, I said yes.
The day was pure magic. Yes, I was terrified, but I was also buzzing. We were all completely chuffed with the photos (especially me!).
I instantly fell in love with capturing these kinds of big, joyful days.
But I also knew I couldn’t just ‘wing it’ forever. So, I dived headfirst into training and workshops to properly learn the craft.
Fast forward to today, and here we are! It’s been a massive journey from that first ‘oh crikey’ email, and I’m so grateful to A&B for starting it all. What an adventure, eh?

A big, positive lesson I’ve learned recently: Presets are a handy tool, but for me, they actually became a bit of a trap! I honestly thought they were the key to getting ‘better’ photos, when in reality, they were limiting my creativity and stopping me from finding my own style. Since I stopped relying on them, I’ve finally started to develop an editing style that is 100% genuinely me, and I’m really happy with the results! It’s all about finding that freedom. 🌟

Mine is the sheer explosion of colour! 🍂🍁
Seriously, every year I fall more and more in love with the incredible colour palette this season brings. It’s like the world turns into a massive, gorgeous painting.
Think about it: those rich, deep ochres, the fiery rusts, the dazzling crimsons, and those stunning golden hues that light up the woods and parks. When I was younger, I don’t think I fully appreciated just how beautiful these tones are. But over the years, my love for the warm colour tones of Autumnal nature has just grown and grown. Now, it’s something I actively look forward to.
It’s the perfect excuse for a cosy walk and some seriously good photos—especially for capturing those beautiful family moments! What’s your favourite Autumn colour?

The first thing I did with my camera was photographing my children. All started in 2020. They are the reason I am here today, shooting families and little ones for a living. Honestly, looking back, I wouldn’t change a thing. Who knew that picking up a camera all those years ago would turn into this amazing journey? Capturing those fleeting moments, the genuine smiles, and the cheeky grins – it’s what truly makes my heart sing. It’s more than just a job; it’s my absolute passion, and I feel so lucky to do what I love every single day. 💖

My advice for parents before a photoshoot...

As a family photographer, I know it can be a bit daunting to get everyone ready for a photoshoot. But don’t you worry, I’ve got you! A little bit of prep goes a long way to making our time together relaxed and fun.
My biggest tip is to make a day of it! Plan a fun activity for after the shoot, like a trip to the park or a favourite cafe for a treat. This gives the little ones something to look forward to and helps keep them in good spirits.

You know, if my photography was a sunflower, I think its roots would just be the pure love I have for this craft. It wouldn’t be about business plans, but that core passion, and it would get stronger with every family I get to meet.
And the flower itself would always be facing the sun. That’s what I do, right? I’m always chasing that perfect golden-hour light, always turning my full attention to my clients to make them feel warm and radiant. The petals would be that feeling of joy and ease I try to create during a shoot, so people can just relax and be themselves.
But my favourite part would be the centre of the sunflower, the part packed with seeds. I like to think every photo I deliver is a seed—a memory that a family gets to plant in their home and cherish forever. And hopefully, it’s also a little seed of word-of-mouth that helps the whole thing continue to grow.

Those photos that I never planned to post…..

I have tons of photos of my children, probably far too many. They are my models, my trial and error , my fans and supporters…and the main reason I started to take the photography business more seriously. That’s why sometimes I wonder if posting them it’s probably too much so I hold it off, like these ones.

Many of my clients are protective to towards their family and they rather not sharing their photos and for that reason my own children come to the rescue.

▪️My dream when I moved here was to learn English to move to Australia, meet a surfer and live the most simple life going to sea every day…epic fail..or not?😆
▪️I love doing things with my hands, I was always told I was the Spanish version of McGyver. I think this is coming from my dad and my children got some bits from me.

Shifting from my previous work place to doing more photography ( or more marketing 🤪) it has impacted me in a way that I’m still finding difficult to create a suitable workflow. Now I’m starting to have some new ideas in how I want to guide my business as photographer.

I love photographing families but I do love even more photographing children. They are like a wild blank canvas, never knowing what they are up to.

Perfect Perfect Perfect (did I say perfect?) time for capturing beautiful portraits of your loved ones. I’m quite lucky that most of the times I manage to spot some fields on time but 2 years ago I totally missed the Rapeseed Flower Field, so last year when I found one I couldn’t resist.

Gosh! I totally forgot to share this incredibly chocolate fudge cake I made for my birthday. Dairy free to don’t give trouble to my stomach and eat as much ashy body could handle. Heaven! ( if you don’t believe me…ask my kids 😉).
